Vincent's Hospital, a division of SJMC has a career opportunity for an Assistant in the Development Department.
The Assistant will:
Execute administrative and database tasks to ensure the integrity of the database and gift processing records.
Leverages extensive knowledge of Raiser's Edge to support and advance the Office's fundraising activities, from the generation of complex mailings lists and reports, to overseeing data and gift entry, supporting donor stewardship and supervising maintenance of donor records.
Administer and maintain donor records in Raiser's Edge database.
Coordinate, import and configure all records.
Design and generate all donation reports and queries.
Possess prior knowledge of finance to generate reports on fundraising activities.
Reconcile donated income with the Finance Department.
Process and track all gifts and pledges.
Set up and implement mail merges for all campaign mailings.
Set up and administer online giving.
Oversee direct mail campaigns.
Qualifications/Educations:
Experience in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy of data entry.
Professional demeanor with flexibility and solid interpersonal skills.
Ability to attend and help with occasional weekend and evening events required.
At the request of the Director, undertakes additional tasks and/or projects.
Candidate should have excellent writing, organizational, interpersonal and skills with strong consultation, presentation, and group facilitation skills; ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and collaboratively as a team member; a high degree of proficiency in Raiser's Edge, Microsoft Office Suite; and competence within a digital workplace.
Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Raiser's Edge database experience required.
1-2 years prior Development/Fundraising/Donor relation experience.
Pay:
$50-60K Recommended Skills Administration Attention To Detail Consulting Data Entry Databases Direct Marketing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
